Ella Langley is 27 years old as of October 2026. The country singer-songwriter was born May 3, 1999, in Hope Hull, Alabama, and celebrated her 27th birthday in May 2026. Her birth name is Elizabeth Camille Langley.
That makes Ella Langley a Taurus, but her age is especially notable in the context of how quickly her music career has developed. At 27, she has already released two studio albums, earned major country-radio success and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Choosin’ Texas.”
When Was Ella Langley Born?
Ella Langley was born on May 3, 1999 in Hope Hull, a community near Montgomery, Alabama. Her birth date is consistently listed by established biographical sources, including Biography.com and IMDb.
Because her birthday has already passed in 2026, she is currently 27. She will turn 28 on May 3, 2027.
Langley grew up in Alabama and developed an interest in music while still young. Her grandfather played a major role in her early musical development, and after his death, her father had his guitar restrung for her when she was 14. Langley has described teaching herself to play Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds” on that guitar.
How Ella Langley’s Age Fits Her Career
Langley’s age can be misleading if viewed only through the timing of her commercial breakthrough. She did not arrive in country music overnight.
She moved to Nashville in 2019, several years before the songs that made her widely recognizable. She continued performing and writing before releasing her 2023 EP Excuse the Mess and then her debut studio album, hungover, in August 2024.
Her collaboration with Riley Green, “You Look Like You Love Me,” became a major breakthrough. By 2026, Langley had moved well beyond the status of a new artist. Her second album, Dandelion, reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, while “Choosin’ Texas” became a Billboard Hot 100 No. 1.
Her official website currently lists performances continuing through October 2026, showing that she remains actively touring at 27 rather than being an artist whose career is only being introduced.
Why Some Ella Langley Age Answers Look Different
Older articles can still list Ella Langley as 25 or 26 because they were published before her May 3 birthday in a later year. For example, a 2024 GRAMMY.com profile was published when Langley was 25, while 2026 coverage correctly identifies her as 27 after her birthday.
The most reliable way to determine her current age is therefore to use the documented birth date rather than relying on an age displayed on an older profile.
As of October 8, 2026, the answer is straightforward: Ella Langley is 27 years old, born May 3, 1999. Her next birthday, when she will turn 28, is May 3, 2027.
